Leicestershire Conductive Education Centre

We are a countrywide charity, providing specialist support to children with motor disorders, enabling them to lead fuller, more active lives.

Many have cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, or chromosome deficiency. Some also have secondary characteristics, such as visual or hearing impairment, communication problems or learning difficulties.

By helping the children develop their physical, emotional, intellectual and personal skills in a relaxed learning environment, we ease their integration into school and their own community, allowing them to live more independently.

Founded in 1994, the charity is managed by volunteer trustees and committee members.

We provide a unique service in Leicestershire, and depend upon the financial support of our funders, sponsors, and donors.
